Terms of Service

By accessing or using PlanInspect, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you individually and the organization.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on iOS devices that you own or control, for your personal or internal business purposes.

PlanInspect is free to download through the Apple App Store. Optional Pro features are available via monthly subscription, yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. The lifetime option grants a perpetual Pro license with no recurring charges.

You agree not to:

• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its source code
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except as permitted by applicable law
• Use the App to develop a competing product or service
• Remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices in the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations
• Sublicense, rent, or lend the App to third parties

The App, including its design, code, graphics, logos, and all related intellectual property, is and remains the exclusive property of PlanInspect and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, service marks, or trade names.

All CAD files, DWG drawings, and any other content you open, view, or annotate using the App remain your property. PlanInspect does not claim any ownership over your files. Since the App operates entirely offline, your files are never uploaded to or processed by our servers.

PlanInspect is designed to work 100% offline. We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal data or files. The App does not require an account, does not use analytics or tracking, and does not communicate with external servers during normal operation.

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will accurately render all DWG file formats or versions. Measurements and annotations provided by the App are intended as aids and should not be used as the sole basis for construction, engineering, or architectural decisions.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL PLANINSPECT, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP.

The App is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of these platforms is governed by their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the practices or policies of any third-party platform.

The App may integrate with iOS system features such as the Files app, Share Sheet, and AirDrop. These integrations are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PlanInspect operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the applicable jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the "Effective date" at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. For material changes, we may provide additional notice through the App or on our website.
