FAQ
Is PlanInspect a CAD editor?
No. PlanInspect is focused on opening, reviewing, measuring, annotating, and exporting plans. It does not replace a full CAD authoring workstation.
Can one project contain both DWG and PDF plans?
Yes. Import each plan as a local document and use the review workflow that matches its format. Automatic cross-format revision comparison is not currently included.
Does plan review require a cloud account?
No. Files are processed locally. A manual iCloud backup is optional and controlled by you.
DWG and PDF each keep a format-appropriate workflow. PlanInspect does not claim DXF support, PDF OCR, automatic revision comparison, or full CAD editing.
